SIM7600G-H M.2

1. Introduction

The SIM7600G-H-M.2 is an LTE Cat 4 module compatible with LTE-TDD, LTE-FDD, HSPA+, GSM, GPRS, and EDGE standards, providing up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink rates. The module adopts the M.2 form factor, consisting of the SIM7600G-H module and an M.2 adapter board for easier integration.

The SIM7600G-H-M.2 series integrates multiple high-precision GNSS positioning systems, comes with built-in network protocols, and supports USB drivers and software functions on mainstream operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Android. It is also AT command compatible, supporting features of the SIM7500/SIM7600 series modules.

Important Notes
  1. Do not hot-plug devices: Always power off before inserting/removing SIM cards, antennas, or the module to prevent damage or recognition issues. After powering on, if registration is successful, the NET indicator will blink.
  2. Ensure the SIM card is valid: It is recommended to first test with a standard mobile SIM card. Avoid IoT cards with strict limitations. Try SIM cards from different carriers to rule out card failure, insufficient balance, or compatibility issues.

Tip

The status indicator reflects the module’s internal state. To communicate with the development board, additional configuration is required. After configuration, the board can access the network via the module.
