This FAQ aims to provide answers to common questions about Luckfox PicoKVM, helping you develop and experiment more efficiently.
1. Failed to Mount MicroSD Card
Ensure the MicroSD card is of reliable quality.
We recommend using Class 10 or higher cards to guarantee sufficient read/write performance and stability.
We have verified that cards from SanDisk and SmartQuickly work properly.
Since there are many brands and models on the market, it is impossible to test them all, but the above brands are recommended.Verify that the MicroSD card is properly formatted.
Supported file systems include FAT32 and ext4.
If you are using the card for the first time or have recently changed the system, please reformat the card to ensure compatibility.
2. Ubuntu Login Screen Blackout / HDMI Signal Drop

3. Dedicated GPU Fails to Output BIOS Display
- Navigate to Video → Configure Video & EDID, and enable Force EDID Output.
- In the EDID dropdown menu, change the default “KVM Default” to a common monitor resolution such as 1920×1080 or 1920×1200 (e.g., DELL D2721H 1920×1080).
- Reboot the KVM device.
